Home Cooking was opened 10 years ago to provide a fresh and “home-cooked” lunch alternative for our customers.

We serve sandwiches, salad boxes, hot lunches, baked potatoes and omelettes all freshly prepared to order. We also offer a telephone ordering facility for our customers who have limited time available.

All of the food, with exception of the bread (which is sourced from Cottage Bakery Silkstone) is cooked by ourselves. We cook joints of meat each day and all our pies, casseroles and pasta dishes are made in our kitchen.

We use no mixes in the preparation of our cakes and desserts and again everything is made ourselves.

All mixed salads are made on the premises as are the quiches which are served in the shop.

We offer a full catering service for all of your celebratory needs. Please see outside catering lists and menus. We also supply garages and other outlets and we offer a hot lunch service in the Penistone area for elderly residents.
